Where a plaintiff prevailed in a suit challenging a decision by the defendant Commissioner of Social Security to deny the plaintiff’s claim for disability benefits, the plaintiff should be awarded $8,909.40 in counsel fees under the Equal Access to Justice Act, 28 U.S.C. §2412(d).
